“Comfort – Relaxation – Iyarashi” (Japanese: 癒らし。) is a roughly 111-part (+ ~15 compilations) series by Audaz Japan. To explain the title: R18 lists its title as “Iyarashi.”, but most of the movies are actually titled “Comfort Vol. xx” or “Relaxation Vol. xx”. Since nobody can do anything with “Iyarashi”, I thought I’d add the other two possible titles. To explain the “roughly 111-part series”: These movies date back as far as 2007 and occasionally actresses or lawmakers create circumstances where movies have to be deleted. That can make it difficult to track how many titles there were originally. We can assume that some titles are missing (like volumes 6 and 97), but sadly not all the titles are numbered. This is as complete as I could make it. Since the list of actresses is pretty long, I’ll just mention some of the more well-known names: Miki Sunohara, Hibiki Otsuki, Yui Hatano, Satomi Nomiya aka Misato Nonomiya, Riona Minami, Uta Kohaku, Erika Kitagawa, Maria Ozawa, Tsubomi, Yumi Kazama, Yu Kawakami aka Shizuku Morino, and Rio Hamasaki aka Erika Morishita and Erika Shinohara.
This is actually the longest running Girlfriend Experience (GFE) series I’ve seen. Like most others it’s dead :( Unlike most others the POV is actually… good? Nani? Nearly all the time, the camera actually sticks to somewhere between and above the shoulders of the man. There are some occasional zoom-ins, but I personally think those are tolerable. The setup is almost identical each time, though over such a long series, they did introduce some variation, but not much. Usually, the movie starts outside for 3-15 minutes, taking a stroll with your totally real girlfriend. First sex scene happens back home. Then there’s a short intermission, often a shared dinner, though it occasionally features another scene outside. Then it’s a sex scene to the finish, though sometimes you share a final endearing moment that isn’t necessarily sexual. A few of the movies also feature some cosplay, so your girlfriend might wear a maid or nurse costume for a scene. What a catch. The downside is that the age and niche nature of this series means that some of the actresses are… not… great to look at? But hey, Aimi Yoshikawa is immensely popular, so I doubt anybody’ll mind.
