Johnni Black has a psychology – studying at the University concluded from Illinois. From 1990 she was with the US Army and achieved the rank of captain as a parachutist and medic . She participated in Operation Desert Storm in Kuwait in the early 1990s . In military service , she met her future husband , who was her instructor. Johnni and David married in October 1995. Black left the Army in 1996.
Subsequently, she came to Los Angeles , where she entered the porn business. Before that, she had made six films while still in the Army, but they could only be released after she left. In the summer of 1996, Black moved to Los Angeles. In 1997 she was named Best New Starlet at the AVN Awards . Her husband works as her manager and together they founded the production company Johnni Black Productions .
